Automatic gates are for vehicles only. Many gated communities have installed pedestrian gates which are self-closing and latching. They require a key to enter, but allow a pedestrian to walk off the property. It can also be a convenient way for joggers, etc. to enter and exit the property. Operations
Choose your preference regarding entry and exit. (Please select all that apply):
Keypad to enter and exit (allows tracking IN and OUT for each tenant)
Keypad to enter and free exit (allows tracking IN for each tenant)
Keypads that are accessible without exiting your car
Walk-Up Keypads that require the person leaving the car to operate
Gate held open automatically during certain periods throughout each day
Visitors must be provided with a means of communicating with the homeowners during times when the gates are closed. This is done through a Hands-Free (no handset) Telephone Entry System. The visitor finds the resident's name on a directory and enters the directory code beside their name. This dials the resident's phone and they are in a telephone conversation with the resident. The resident may open the gate (or not) by simply pressing 9 on their telephone (even a cordless). This requires a dedicated phone line at the gate area. It can be updated via computer and modem with optional software. Does this sound like something that would interest you?
